Building Academy #3

Since 1995 there have been plenty of proposals for the reconstruction of the famous Building Academy in Berlin. In the framework of an open dialogue the Federal Foundation for Building Culture hosts three panels with the aim to develop a utilization concept for Schinkel’s red brick building.

The concept developed will be the basis of the architecture competition for the reconstruction of the building. UrbanFilmLab e.V. accompanies the process. After the first two panels, ‘Statusforum’ and ‘Ideenforum’, we today present the third panel, the ‘Szenarienforum’, which took place the 3rd of May 2017: here the participants examined the different utilization concepts from the last panel for their feasability.
