Blaibach Concert Hall

The Munich architect Peter Haimerl initiated several projects together with the citizens of Blaibach in order to bring the shrinking village center of Blaibach in the middle of the Bavarian Forest back to life. One of these projects is the Concert Hall from 2014.

The tilted shape with its slotted walls doesn’t follow the effect, but solely the standards of acoustics.
Baunetz praised: “The architecture was initially thought as catalyst for change, but exactly because it was developed out of a community, the architect didn’t have to compromise.
