light surfaces

Workshop 1 for the restructuring of the FIANDRE exhibition space started with the topic ‘light surfaces’. On the 7th and 8th October 2015, the first project group consisting of Prof. Ruth Berktold (yes architecture), Nils Buschmann (RobertNeun Architekten), Laura Ludloff (Ludloff + Ludloff Architekten), Claudia Meixner (Meixner Schlüter Wendt Architekten) came together in the sala architettura berlin and developed their design idea: a ‘flying carpet’ that is applyed to the heritage-protected space. The scenographer Detlef Weitz (chezweitz Szenografie) gave special input and Peter Cachola Schmal (director of the DAM) held a lecture.
