The Limeseum

The Limeseum is a museum built in 2012 by Karl und Probst Architekten. It is located near Ruffenhofen at  the former river bank of the Limes. About 1800 years ago, there were  a Roman fort and a large settlement. Today, the floor plan of the fort is visualized by plants. The Limeseum shows the life of a Roman cavalry soldier.
