HIKK offensive

The BAUFACHFRAU Berlin e.V. introduces its project ‘hikk offensive’ (wood in the creative cycle).

The nonprofit association BAUFACHFRAU Berlin e.V. supports women in building and fitout professions since 1988 and they have since initiated a great number of sustainable and social projects. The hikk project shifts waste wood into focus. As part of hikk BAUFACHFRAU opened a pop-up workshop and waste wood exchange at the KZ/U Moabit this summer. Visitors were invited to build their individual furniture out of the waste of other wood workshops, together with members of other nonprofit organizations furnishings for their spaces were designed and implemented.
