House of Rolf

This is the House of Rolf, the house where the architect and artist Rolf Bruggink now lives and works. In 2011 Rolf Bruggink acquired a former 1895 aristocrat’s house together with the surrounding terrain and a coach house with the intention of demolishing the former building. Rolf decided to recover the demolition material and design a new home and workspace in the shell of the coach house. The entire interior is thus made of the material recycled from the demolished building next-door.

The transformation project is a collaboration between Rolf Bruggink and Niek Wagemans.
