ISU Talks #3

In November 2015, the Institute for Sustainable Urbanism hosted the third of its annual ISU Talks at the TU Braunschweig on the theme Ruralism. This day-long international conference brought together scholars and practitioners engaged in the current urban-rural discourse, to examine the role of rural space in contemporary urbanization on a transdisciplinary platform. Presenters included architects, landscape architects, planners, anthropologists, sociologists, environmental scientists, and other scholars. With keynote speakers from ecosistema urbano (Madrid), Patrick Lüth of Snøhetta (Innsbruck), and Stephan Petermann of OMA/AMO (Rotterdam).
