… Leipzig Book Fair instigates to read. The designers Johannes Albert and Helmut Stabe have designed a fair presentation, that plays with the pencil as a promotional gift, and which occurs at the same time as an integral part of the object appearance. Now visitors can decide between the removal of a pencil, and with it the decision about the removal of the booth.
The simple but yet versatile writing instrument becomes a three-dimensional book display and lettering. Finally pencils even play a constructive role: as a connecting element 315 pencils keep eight perforated panels fit together precisely.
