projekt bauhaus werkstatt – datatopia

The design of a datified future society
Die Gestaltung einer datifizierte Zukunftsgesellschaft

Datatopia – an increasingly data-based and coded society demands new aesthetic, spatial, social and political forms of culture. In order to make the social effects of this future Big-Data-society tangible and understandable, the Datatopia Summerschool aims at the interdisciplinary development of innovative design strategies. It was not by chance that the projekt bauhaus Werkstatt, as the initiator, chose the floating university as the venue. Rather an ex-titution than an institution – it offers a place to imagine social, changing and flowing phenomena and social structures.

Special guest: Beatriz Colomina & Mark Wigley, Armin Linke, T’ai Smith, Keller Easterling, Eyal Weizman, Benjamin H. Bratton, Shirin Fahimi
