Germany’s biggest straw-bale construction

The Centre for Sustainable Construction in North Germany is the biggest German straw-bale building. ÖKOFILM documented the building process and the different construction phases of this unusual building over the course of several years. Interviews with the architects Dirk Scharmer and Thomas Isselhard accompany the construction images. The Centre for Sustainable Construction is an important hub for sustainable building and hosts the association for straw-bale constructions as well as other sustainable building practices.
