The Array

The Array is set upon a sloping ridge in Telluride, Colorado. Visually powerful, environmentally sensitive.
The installation relies on the snow pack levels during winter to adjust its appearance. Evocative of some ancient form of place-making, the gridded implantations suggest a transformative redefinition of the site. Yet, the poetry of the work lies in its impermanence, which allows a certain melancholic wistfulness to overcome the abstract rationalism suggested by the orthogonal structure.
