Casa de Vidro

Designed in 1951 as her home and studio, the house is now occupied by the Instituto Lina Bo (and Pietro Maria) Bardi. Initially build on a barren hillside, the vegetation has subsequently completely taken over the site. This beautifully shot film by Tapio Snellman looks at how the vegetation affects the experience of the modernist building and how the materiality and detailing of the design co-exists with the landscape.
