Home Enough?

With printed photographs – parts of buildings, windows, doors, balconies – shot in Oranienstraße in Berlin, a group of artists created collages by gluing them to walls at different locations along the street. By the act of recombining, layering and repeating, the history of the place and its nature of producing, erasing, demolishing and rebuilding are positioned and questioned. It voices the layered structure of the street’s political and sociological history.

The film was created as part of the Urban Habitat Seminar at UdK under the direction of Lilli Kuschel, focusing on an artistic exploration of urban living spaces with Oranienstraße and its neighborhood in Berlin Kreuzberg.
