The building as mission statement: in December 2006, the Institute of Contemporary Art(https://www.icaboston.org/) opened in the southern part of Boston. Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro (https://dsrny.com/), director Jill Medvedow considers both, site and building, as ideal: located at the harbor, the institute presents itself opens to (art) ideas from all over the world.
