The Kitchen Monument

The kitchen is a place of connecting and communicating. The kitchen monument is a mobile social sculpture that brings the kitchen into public space. After Liverpool, Duisburg, Utrecht and Venice the kitchen monument comes to Berlin and extends the  Berlinische Galerie during their closing time into the urban surrounding. In form of a bubble in front of the museum a translucent space unfolds for temporary get-togethers. The Berlinische Galerie invites on four dates to discussions on current urban issues, workshops, drinks and cooking.
