The new glass courtyard

The design of Daniel Libeskind for the Courtyard roofing of the museum refers to a “sukkah” (Hebrew for Feast of Tabernacles). With the glass courtyard, the museum creates a large, all-year open space event for around 500 people. In addition, it is used as an extension of the entrance to provide a  better control of the flow of visitors.
