On the former industrial wasteland on the Spreeufer in Berlin, the “Spreeboard” by the architectural firm Grüntuch Ernst enriches the urban space with its forward-looking composition of near-natural spaces, mutually offset structures with offices and retail space, various types of apartments, and a surrounding rooftop park, thus combining functionality and sensuality with vitality, biodiversity, and climate resilience.
