New Central Library at Humboldt University in Berlin
The Swiss architect Max Dudler created the new building of the Humboldt Library – a block-like structure with strict perforated facade, which houses the great book collection of the Humboldt University inside. About 1,000 workspaces are distributed throughout the building. Atmospheric certainly incomparably is the large main reading room, which extends over four floors and is the heart of the building.
