ARCHITECTURE BIENNALE 2012

In this year’s Swiss Pavilion, it is all about beeing friendly. Colors, shapes, volume – if buildings respond to their environment, work with what they already find in the city, every new building can fit harmoniously into the already built. Or, to put it in the words of curator Miroslav Šik “. Don’t build Solitaire. Don’t quote yourself, but react to the environment …” A plea to the thoughtful use of structural interventions – impressively visualized by a beautiful photo emulsion in an entirely successful pavilion.
