Public open space
The question of open spaces in the city is particularly important: nowhere else they are so desperately needed – but how do they look like in our cities, how are they designed and for whom?
The “Small Tiergarten” in Berlin is such a public space as it often exists: for many people just a “quickly-go-through” and “just-not-stay-for-too-long” space. That’s actually a pity, it would be an important space in the densely populated Moabit. But there are many good ideas and examples of good places…
