Rear Window

Jeff Desom dissected all of Hitchcock’s “Rear Window” and stiched it with a faszinating technique back together in After Effects. All the shots which included camera movement were stabilized. Since almost everything was filmed from the same angle it was possible to match them into a single panoramic view of the entire backyard without any greater distortions. The order of events stays true to the movie’s plot. The result is a completely new and autonomous view on the backyard, which is presented with a great portion of humor.
