Surveillance Souterraine

Today we present two short experimental films by Julia Zinnbauer (Scissorella) who merges the media of film, fashion and architecture.

“surveillance souterraine” was shot in three Dusseldorf underground stations that were designed by architect Wolfgang Döring. All elements of that design, the material and colours correlate in such an elegant way that you receive an almost perfect total picture. The joints resemble a coordinate system. The film aims at reflecting and incorporating those rhythms made of lines and patterns. Movements, costumes and the editing of the film reference and extend the architecture.
